Ricebowl has a bit of a dual personality. Online he is a character in the World of Warcraft game. Offline he is a reformed type 2 diabetic who tests computer software for a living. Being a priest, a diebetic and a tester all require a strong desire for healing. This space contains useful things I have found to help with my diabetes.

Family I have a loving wife who supports me

Simple Transport walking / taking the bus to work every day (about an hour of leisurely walking all totaled). Of course, Online I generally run or take the griffon...

Diet eating 4 meals a day, well spaced apart, each limited to 12 total grams of Carbohytrate or less.

Kindness when sometimes I stray from the path, there is no worry, I just get back on it. I know we are all different and each one of us has our own path.

Exercise setting aside 90 minutes, for moderate exercise, 3 days a week.

	5-Factor Fitness by Harley Pasternak, Ethan Boldt This book is about exercising and dieting in a very simple healthful way. While not specifically about diabetes it very supportive of the diabetic lifestyle. NOTE: One of the authors had two Type 1 diabetic brothers.

	Dr. Bernstein's Diabetes Solution: The Complete Guide to Achieving Normal Blood Sugars Revised & Updated (Hardcover) by Richard K. Bernstein While looking at customer reviews at Amazon for Diabetes books, this one stood out. Since I started following its advice, I lost 15 pounds, got better control of my blood sugar, and had my blood pressure improve significantly. Highly recommended.
